Exercise STILL WATER commences in Cross River with Free Medical Outreach

The Nigerian Army (NA) Field Training exercise code named Exercise STILL WATER was flagged off in Cross Rivers State with free medical outreach targeted at hundreds of residents living in Ikang, Bakassi Local Government Area of Cross Rivers State.

In his remarks, the Commander 13 Brigade NA Brigadier General Peter Malla said during the exercise troops will be practised on the preparation, planning and conduct of operations in both land and riverine areas.

He request all stakeholders to cooperate and support the successful conduct of the Exercise.

The Governor of Cross Rivers State Prof. Ben Ayade, represented by Dr Patrick Mboto, Permanent Secretary Services while delivering the goodwill message,commended the troops for their conduct in the state.

Highlight of the flag-off ceremony include unarmed combat demonstration and guided tour of the step up Headquarters.
